The SAD # 46 Schools

"When one door closes another opens. But often we look so long so regretfully upon the closed door that we fail to see the one that has opened for us."

-Helen Keller

SAD # 46 educates over 1,000 students from the four towns that make up the district (Dexter, Exeter, Garland, and Ripley) and neighboring towns.

There are 4 schools that serve the K-8 student population:

We are in the process of building a Pre-K-8 building that will consolidate all of our K-8 schools. Click here for more information.

Safety & Security

SAD # 46 provides a comprehensive Safety & Security Program designed to provide students, staff and visitors with facilities that meet or exceed standards in fire safety, air quality, hazardous materials management, chemical safety and building safety. A video surveillance system at DRHS is just one of the safety features our schools implement.

Construction, Renovation & Technology

Periodically, bond elections are called by our board of directors to present taxpayers with proposals to fund the construction of new schools or renovate existing schools.

SAD # 46's construction update page provides details of current bond projects.
